Coffee was introduced to the island of Java by the Dutch in the 1600s and was first exported by the Dutch in the 1700s. Java was the first island to culitvate coffee and export it, hence why coffee is often reffered to as Java. Our Java has a low toned richness that is typical of an Indonesion with medium acidity and a slight earthiness.
