Indian Monsoon Malabar, truly a world class coffee from a country known for its production of some of the finest teas around the world. Monsoon coffees reffer to a process where the dry cherry is sent to the coastal area and the spread across warehouses with good ventilation where the monsoon winds which are very dense in moisture puff up the beans. Legend is that this process was discovered by accident. The coffee has low acidity, and is a rich muddy cup, with classic indian spice notes and some stone fruit. Often used as a single origin espresso this is definately one of the world's most unique coffees with a rich creamy history.
